Alectra is reporting that approximately 1,320 customers in Mississauga are currently without power this evening (September 14).
Utility crews have been dispatched to the affected area, which is believed to be in the city’s northwest, bordered by Britannia Road West to the south, Aquitane Avenue to the north, the 10th Line to the west, and Glen Erin Drive to the east.
Residents say the outage began around 6 p.m. and the area remained without electricity well into the night.
According to Alectra, the cause of the outage is still under investigation. Power is expected to be restored by midnight.
